Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Opstimio ("we", "us"), a trade name of Samigo (registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KVK number 95972900), provides digital products, prompt libraries, templates, playbooks and learning modules, for IT operations professionals. Samigo is the controller of your personal data. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit https://opstimio.com, purchase a product or contact us. For any privacy question, email support@opstimio.com.
2. Data we collect
Order data: when you purchase, our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, collects your name, email address, billing details and VAT number (for business purchases). We receive confirmation of your order and your email address to deliver the product; full card details never reach our systems.
Contact data: when you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and the content of your message.
Usage data: we collect limited, privacy-respecting analytics (page views, referrers, approximate region) to understand how the website performs. We do not build individual behavioural profiles.
3. How we use your data
To deliver purchased products and send access details; to provide support and respond to messages; to send essential service emails such as major content updates included in your purchase; to comply with legal obligations including tax and accounting rules; and to improve the website based on aggregate usage.
We do not sell personal data. We do not send marketing email without your consent, and every non-essential email contains an unsubscribe link.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
We process data on the basis of contract performance (delivering your purchase), legitimate interest (support, security, product improvement), legal obligation (invoicing and tax records) and consent (optional communications).
5. Sharing and processors
We share data only with service providers needed to run the business: payment processing, email delivery and website hosting. Each processor is bound by a data processing agreement and processes data only on our instructions. Where data leaves the EEA, transfers are protected by adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
Order and invoice data is retained as long as tax law requires (typically 7 years). Support correspondence is kept for up to 2 years after the last contact. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete and receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email support@opstimio.com and we respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
8. Cookies
The website uses only functional storage (such as your dark/light mode preference) and cookieless, privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible) that collects no personal data and requires no consent banner. We do not use advertising trackers.
9. Security
Traffic is encrypted with TLS, access to systems is restricted and protected with multi-factor authentication, and we minimise the data we hold. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for the least possible data exposure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the product or legislation evolves. The latest version always lives on this page; material changes to how we use your data will be announced by email to customers.
